PUT YOUR SHOES ON!!

I wish I knew how many times I have told my kids to put their shoes on so we can go. My oldest is nine and although he can tie his shoes, he picks the ugly shoes with Velcro to avoid tying them. I’ve looked at alternatives and haven’t really found anything until today.

While scrolling through my Facebook feed I saw an ad for a product called Hickies which intrigued me. It was titled never tie your shoes again. Um yes please! Well, I determined I was going to try them to see if it worked for my kids. Yeah his shoes might not come undone at school but, can he actually fasten them by himself?

After visiting their website, I was a little more confident in the order. They have different ways of wearing them to loosen or tighten the shoes fit. To be honest, I’m more excited to find out if my five-year old  can use them. Or I wonder if I could use them on my gym shoes?! OH….. what if my kids could slip their shoes on by themselves! Imagine what life will be like if everyone could put their own shoes on.

Well, the Hickies should arrive in about a week after the $13 something which includes shipping and handling. I can’t wait to see how it turns out. Or if you would like to see for yourself here is a video https://www.facebook.com/HICKIES/videos/1298696886860240/

Hello world!

Which one are you?

I finally decided to start my blog! How exciting is this!

I have so much to share. I’m raising millennials, married, reaching for a 800 credit score, paying off all debt, in the housing market, trying to start my business, and working a full-time job. I have so much going on and dividing my time is work in its self.

My name is Stephanie and I’m 31 years old. I’ve been happily married for 10 years and have two boys. I am a small town girl who met an airmen after moving to the city (OKC). We married had our first son Adrian. Then we were stationed to Minot, North Dakota. During the 5 1/2 years we lived there we had our second son, Blake. I also made the decision to go back to school and get my Bachelor’s degree. We finally got to leave Minot when my husband exited the Air Force and went to the OK ANG. We moved back to my small town until he finishes school. So here we are trying to create a good life for our children and to become successful ourselves.

I wanted to start this blog for a few reasons. First, I want to start writing code and I would like to know more about websites from the inside. Second, I hope by sharing my experiences and knowledge maybe I could help someone. I had to tech myself everything about being an adult. Somethings came to me easily others I had to learn the hard way. Well, I don’t see why you can’t learn from my mistakes.
